Nicole Pagowsky is an Instructional Services Librarian at the University of Arizona where she focuses on student retention and learner-centered teaching. Her article on taking a programmatic approach to tie the library to campus retention efforts was published as a feature in the November 2012 issue of C&RL News. From interest in how instructional technology and design can play a role in student success, Nicole is earning a MS in Educational Technology. She is currently researching motivation in game-based instructional design and is developing a badging framework for information literacy instruction. She will be presenting on her work at ALA13.
Nicole is also the creator of Librarian Wardrobe (LW), a blog examining perceptions of information workers. LW just closed a Call for Papers for a new title within this scope, which will be published by ACRL Press in 2014. Nicole has presented on this topic in conferences, webinars, and invited lectures.
